OK – so this book made a good point about God’s Word not
being just for the sermon but that it should reverberate throughout what we do
- IN church and
- AFTER WE LEAVE!
But then he starts excluding (or at least casting
aspersions) on things that are not simply ‘the Word’, which in some cases have good warrant for doing given BY the Word. Then he starts trying to balance those comments
after the event … all a bit, overbalancing.
This really is a bit of a shame, because the big
point is actually a REALLY good one!
All round a GREAT read.
